William Peel® continues its International Advance

In surpassing the 3 million bar for 9-liter cases worldwide, William Peel® has confirmed the success of its expansion strategy.
Eighth largest Scotch whisky company in the world and French market leader, William Peel® experienced strong growth during 2016 in the 46 countries in which it is established, particularly in Eastern Europe, where volumes were multiplied by 3.5 in Poland and doubled in Lithuania and Bulgaria.
 
Strengthened by this growth, William Peel® has laid out its ambitions for 2017 and intends to break the barrier of 10% for sales volume originating from outside France.

To achieve this objective, MBWS signed a strategic partnership in December 2016 with the agrifood giant Cofco Group, to import and distribute its products in China. As the world’s biggest consumer of spirits (40% of purchases worldwide*), the country constitutes a key market for William Peel.
