At this year's ISM, held from April 23 to April 25 2023, exhibitors from around the world showcased their products in many segments. Among them are chocolate products, confectionery, biscuits, snacks or ice cream and deep-frozen sweets.
The event is attracting a lot of interest. According to the organizer, the ISM Cologne fair in 2020 (the last year before the pandemic) attracted 37,000 visitors from 148 countries. At that time, more than 1.7 thousand exhibitors from 76 countries presented their products.
We still have to wait for this year's figures, although we already know that interest in ISM Cologne 2023 was very high. According to preliminary data, about 1,300 exhibitors from more than 70 countries showcased their products at ISM Cologne 2023.
At this year's ISM fair in Cologne, many manufacturers and distributors of sweets and snacks from Poland also presented their products. Among them were such companies as:
The editors of the English-language magazine Food from Poland were present at the ISM to promote the Polish food sector, talk to representatives of companies in the industry and keep them updated on the latest trends presented at the event.
According to conversations with representatives of Polish food companies, the presence at ISM is not only an opportunity for them to present their products and gain knowledge, but also a chance to establish new, valuable business contacts. The ISM fair in Cologne is an ideal platform for promoting Polish brands and exporting Polish products to foreign markets.
The next edition of the ISM fair in Cologne is scheduled for January 28-31, 2024, and promises to be another important event in the industry calendar.
